In terms of dramaturgy – the aim of the epic structure (Soulographie’s references to martyrologies, the Iliad, pro-wrestling, road movies…) is the destruction of frames of time. With these walls broken down, there’s more room for the present tense to roam.


More important to the project than facts is this crushing of time. From the dilated present tense, the audience, including the artists, is hopefully motivated to emerge with the yen to move back and forth across boundaries via research?
